As a part if the Virginia Beach Public School Physical Education Curriculum the Virginia Beach Steppers administer dance education. The session's duration lasts one week out of the student's year and serves as the P.E. teacher's 'Unit of Dance'. We traditionally replace student's regular gym instruction with a syllabus of partner/ line dancing as an alternative way of exercise.
The daily cost to have professional dance instruction on your campus is $125 daily. However, for schools choosing to have a full week of instruction the price drops to $500! Please feel free to call or write with any questions to get your schools registered today!
Day One:
Familiarity of Music/ Students will find the beat in multiple Genre's of Music including Tango, Salsa, Line Dances, Hip Hop, Waltz and many more!
Day Two:
Line Dancing/ Students will spend a full period learning popular line dances including the Electric Slide, The Cupid Shuffle and various Country Line Dances!
Day Three:
Partner Dancing/ Students will learn to dance with a partner by watching and attempting to emulate professionals. It's like their own Dancing with the Stars!
Day Four:
Hip Hop/ Students will learn some fun hip hop moves while dancing to popular instrumentals. Good clean socializing, exercising through dance to music they are already familiar with!
Day Five:
Review/ a fun filled day of Line Dancing, Partner Dancing, Hip Hop and Everything they have learned in one week!
